One of the business partners will meet you a selected time, give you a tour, Safety instructions. They will meet you when you’re done to ensure all of the tools are back in place and the shop is clean. The partner will most likely be doing their own work at the shop, or at minimum a call or short distance away; so ready to help if you have any questions. Note: All partners have full time jobs elsewhere, so it takes coordination to schedule.

We’ll get you set up similar to the Tier 1 by-Day plan, but then give you access for the week, and be on call if you have any questions.

Need occasional access to a shop, but not enough to buy/pay for your own dedicated space, come join us! Gives you direct access, your own gate code and key for 24/7 access, and ability to schedule up to 14 days of use per month w/ ability to flex between months based on availability. (Think Co-Op)

DIY Auto Shop - Tools & equipment
4 post lift
10,000lbs capability with 18' tall ceilings make this lift work for just about anything, the only constraint is very long vehicles (ie. the longest sprinter vans are typically 2-3" too long to fit). The lift comes with a pneumatic center jack (allows you to jack up the car to change wheels or do suspension work), and a jack tray if you need to get all 4 wheels off the ground.
Typical Auto Tools
We've got 3 tools benches that fit all the typical tools you'd expect, including a few extra 10mm sockets ;)
Note: This isn't a professional level $10K tool box set, it's a real-world tool set that gets the job done. for those join the community, we collectively donate tools or buy new as needed; the goal is to keep cost down but have everything you need. The main area we did invest in is tool organization...as a shared shop, it's key that everything has it's place & when you're done, all tools returned.
Fabrication
We've all been there...a part breaks and you can't find a replacement, or you buy a part and it almost fits; we've got a small selection of fabrication tools to make custom parts. No crazy CNC machines, just a few humble tools that can do most jobs.
- Lathe: Cheap HF unit, but works fine for plastic, Aluminum, and steel if you go slowly.
- Mill: it's got all the bits and clamps,smaller footprint so it can't do large parts.
- Band-saw, drill press, sanding wheel,...
- MIG Welder: Millermatic unit that runs off of 240 or 120Vac, and it's got an Aluminum spoolgun. we've got spools & Gas for mild steel, stainless, and aluminum.
